Pinpoint

Press and hold on a shared screen in Google Meet. Everyone else running Pinpoint sees your ping, in your colour, with your name. It fades on its own. No accounts, nothing stored.

Download the extension
  1. Unzip it somewhere you can leave it — Chrome loads it from that folder every time it starts, so don't delete it afterwards.
  2. Open chrome://extensions
  3. Turn on Developer mode (top right)
  4. Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped pinpoint folder
  5. Click the Pinpoint icon and set your name and colour
Developer mode is needed because this isn't on the Chrome Web Store yet. Everyone in the meeting needs it installed to see each other's pings — it does nothing on its own.
